Temple Israel is a dynamic Reform Congregation that was formed on Merritt Island, Florida in 1965. In 1997, we moved to our current convenient location in Viera, Florida.
Temple Israel members enjoy a full range of programming year round. There is an organization or activity for almost every age group or area of interest.
Temple Talkers discuss topics of interest and importance to our senior members. Temple Talkers offer an opportunity for Jewish seniors to interact in a social setting.
For those interested in giving of their time and talents, Temple Israel offers many avenues. In addition to service as a Temple officer or a member of the Board of Directors, which meets on the third Monday evening of the month, there are many worthwhile committees and special projects in need of support.
Temple Israel encourages all congregants to become actively involved in a project or activity suitable to their spiritual well being. Such personal involvement ultimately benefits the entire congregation. New congregants are especially encouraged to express their areas of interest and to get involved as soon as possible as a way to meet other members and from warm friendships.
If you have not visited us recently, come experience our music-filled, vibrant Shabbat worship and meet our amazing Rabbi.
